There’s a new dog in our house. :)

She was dropped off yesterday. We are all still getting acclimated but, so far, the adjustment is going wonderfully.

Yesterday was a bit tense, lots of nervous pacing and far-away-from-me-sniffing. But today, today the tail is out in full force and she hasn’t stopped trailing behind me for longer than a minute. I now have a dog-shaped shadow in my house and I couldn’t be happier.

We went for a long walk this morning, which worked out well for both of us. She got to explore and I got to begin work on my 100 photos a day for a week SEEING assignment.

I have a feeling this is the start of something really nice.
